A Message from the Owner

AdventureCam Photo is the sole proprietorship of award-winning Colorado Springs photographer, Michael J. Pach. Mike also runs 3 Peaks Photography & Design and the Colorado Photography Learning Group. He is an avid hiker and fisherman and loves spending time in the Colorado mountains.

My philosophy on doing business is simple: I treat customers and clients the way I would expect to be treated when making a purchase or hiring someone to provide a service. I care about helping every customer find what they need and truly appreciate every opportunity to earn their business.

I started AdventureCam Photo in July of 2000 after working as an aerospace engineer for 11 years. Starting this business was a long-time dream of mine, and leaving the corporate world was the motivation I needed to make it happen.

AdventureCam Photo started as a way to introduce the world to my photography, but it gradually evolved into a retail source of digital imaging products and supplies. I have worked hard at building a network of outstanding partners and believe in doing business only with distributors and individuals that supply the highest quality products and services, such as Adobe, Canon, Canson, Epson, Hitachi, Lyson, Proof Line, Wacom, X-Rite and others.

It has been very exciting for me to see all of the advancements in digital imaging over the past several years, and I hope you feel the same. I regulary visit with local customers and thoroughly enjoy seeing the innovative things each of them is doing with the latest technology.

While earning my MBA, I distinctly remember two things that one of my instructors told me about starting a business. First of all, he said that if I want to start a business, make sure I choose something that I am passionate about. Secondly, he said, "When a customer enters your store, you should be willing to jump over the counter and through hoops of fire to help that person find what they need." I am passionate about the world of digital imaging and about helping people. As for those rings of fire, I hope you have plenty of matches.

As a Epson 7600 owner, I found the Proof Line paper to be exceptional especially the canvas fine art paper. In printing with the various rolls of paper, whether it be the gloss, luster, semi-matte or canvas, the final prints matched my current profiles for each of the papers. This was an added bonus in my print setup and print time. The bottom line here is, you get a good product that works right out of the box.
